Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy
At Swami Samarth Foods, we strive to deliver the highest quality Meltbite chocolates. Due to the perishable nature of our products and strict food safety standards, we have established the following policy regarding returns and cancellations.
- Cancellation Policy
- Before Dispatch: You may cancel your order within 4 hours of placement for a full refund. Please contact our support team immediately at +91 70391 87244 or 022-3565 6451 or email support@meltbitechocolates.com.
- After Dispatch: Once an order has been handed over to our courier partner, it cannot be cancelled. Since chocolates are temperature-sensitive, returning them to our warehouse would compromise their quality.
- No-Return Policy
- Perishable Goods: In accordance with food safety regulations, we do not accept returns on any chocolate products (Slabs, Callets) once they have been delivered.
- Storage & Handling: We cannot verify the storage conditions (temperature and humidity) once the product leaves our controlled environment; therefore, we cannot accept returns for resale.
- Damaged or Incorrect Orders
While we take extreme care in packaging, if your order arrives in an unsatisfactory condition, we offer a Replacement or Refund under the following circumstances:
- Severe Damage: The outer packaging or product is crushed or tampered.
- Incorrect Product: You received a different flavour, weight, or variant than what was ordered.
- Expired Product: The product received is past its “Best Before” date.
- Loss Parcel :– If parcel is Lost by Courier Partners we Offer Replacement or Refund.(But there is Conditions if Delivery Courier Partner is Agreed then)
- How to Claim a Refund/Replacement
To process a claim, please follow these steps within 24 hours of delivery:
- Unboxing Proof: Record a short unboxing video & take clear photographs of the damaged item and the shipping label.
- Contact Us: Send the proof along with your Order ID to our WhatsApp or email.
- Evaluation: Our quality control team will review your request within 48 hours. If approved, a replacement will be dispatched, or a refund will be initiated to your original payment method.
- Non-Refundable Scenarios
- Minor Melting (Heat Bloom): In the Indian climate, minor softening or “fat bloom” (white surface streaks) may occur during transit. This is a natural characteristic of cocoa butter and does not affect the safety or taste of the chocolate.
- Taste Preference: We do not offer refunds based on personal taste preferences or sweetness levels (including our 100% sugar-free range).
- Incorrect Address: Refunds are not provided if the delivery fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
- Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days. The amount will be credited back to the original bank account, credit card, or UPI ID used during the purchase.
